The Born Centre Cultural is a unique and exceptional place in Born district of Barcelona, that puts together three centuries of Barcelona history.

History

El Born VIII  El Born I

In the 19th century, a huge market was built in Born district of Barcelona, made of a cast-iron structure. In year 2000, the city council decided to transform it in a large public library and knowledge centre. What a big surprise when, at the begining of the remodelation, they found the rests of the Barcelona city of 1700, so they decided to keep them and built the Born Centre Cultural.
